As I mentioned in my post about
Split Oak Mitigation Forest, it was a chilly blustery day. There were a few birds to be seen, but it was not super birdy. As soon as I arrived, however, I did manage to see one of the species that are fairly common in the park:
Wild Turkeys. There were three of them moving fairly quickly through a field. When they saw me, so they moved even faster.
